Getting Ready for the 2015 Honda Fit in Amarillo!
Southwest Honda aims to bring the latest Honda news to our Amarillo customers. We’re excited to reveal some details about the 2015 Honda Fit, a car Honda has been working on for a while now.
The new Fit is going to come with a number of updates in terms of design, technology, and performance. Its exterior is going to have a sportier look with a new, sleeker grille and more aerodynamic-looking structure overall. Its new 1.5-liter engine will produce 130 horsepower and 114 lbs.-ft. of torque and will likely help improve the vehicle’s fuel economy ratings.
Other features like an updated powertrain and chassis are also expected to improve the new Fit’s fuel efficiency. Some sources estimate that the 2015 Fit will boast a combined fuel economy rating of 36 mpg and a highway fuel economy rating of 41 mpg.
In terms of technology, the 2015 Honda Fit won’t disappoint either. It’ll be equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, new HondaLink apps, a 7-inch touchscreen display, a smartphone-integrated GPS system, and more.
Honda introduced the 2015 Fit to the world at the Detroit Auto Show last month. They also announced that they plan to begin production of the new Fit this month at their brand new plant in Celaya, Mexico. The automaker anticipates a spring 2014 release date for the new Honda.
